In celebration of Women's History month in March, we are delighted to welcome Candace L. Strother, Membership Engagement manager, Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce!

Candace L. Strother, a Denver native and East High School graduate, is the Membership Engagement Manager at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC). With a passion for building inclusive communities, Candace is dedicated to ensuring that CWCC members feel both connected and empowered. She excels at integrating community, culture, and inclusion into every aspect of her work, fostering meaningful relationships among members and advancing the mission of elevating women in business.

With over a decade of experience in partnership development and relationship management, particularly with youth-focused non-profits, Candace is also the CEO of QueenLyfe Inc., an organization that empowers young women through workshops on financial responsibility, healthy relationships, and physical and mental well-being. Through QueenLyfe, thousands of young women have been inspired to embrace their identities, build meaningful connections, and establish strong foundations for success. Candace’s expertise includes building and managing relationships with major non-profits such as Girls Inc., Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Yes Prep, KIPP, and Denver School of Science and Technology (DSST). Her ability to forge strategic partnerships has led to sustained community impact and growth. 

In 2020, Candace became the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Vortex Companies, where she successfully created and implemented initiatives promoting inclusion across the organization. Her commitment to mental health advocacy and creating safe, respectful communities has been a cornerstone of her career. Candace firmly believes that a sense of community is crucial in the workplace, as individuals seek to feel included and connected to something meaningful.

Candace holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and was recognized in the Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. She actively serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, further demonstrating her dedication to giving back to her community.

Outside of her professional work, Candace enjoys international travel, nature, and attending live music events, fueling her passion for personal growth and connection.
